Objective of Job
- Assist in planning and implementing production processes for specific technologies in a plant, for existing and new products, in cooperation with the areas of process development, process planning, equipment engineering, logistics, production and quality, with the goal of efficiently industrializing the product.
- Technical and disciplinary leader for direct reports
Principal Activities
- Cooperate in concept creation based on technology, with regard to operating procedures, tools, equipment/machines and fixtures under the direction of process development and equipment procurement, in order to achieve best results.
- Cooperate in creating requirement manuals and selecting suppliers, together with equipment engineering, production and purchasing, and taking into account profitability and process reliability to achieve project goals.
- Cooperate in supplier performance verification in cooperation with equipment engineering and purchasing, taking into consideration the requirements in the requirements manual.
- Startup and run-in of series equipment and processes in cooperation with equipment engineering and production.
- Conduct process parameter set-up and create the appropriate data sheets, taking into consideration the design specifications from process development and complying with specifications regarding quality, function, etc.
- Determine and review process window (min./max.), taking into consideration the design specifications from process development and complying with specifications regarding quality, function, etc.
- Validation of processes and characteristics, under consideration of the specifications, using Statistical methods, e.g. MFU, PFU (provisional), DOE
- In Cooperation with Quality, create reference samples, limit samples and other samples for pre-series and series production, taking specifications into account.
- Short term maintenance of all necessary documentation (part history of the single process, data sheets, etc.) in his/her area of responsibility and archiving it in specified media.
- Cooperate in conducting the Run at Rate and in process handover, analysis of deviations and the introduction of corrective actions and process FMEA's.
- Conduct and monitor of adjustments and optimizations of existing and new products and processes, in cooperation with production, equipment engineering and quality.
- Determine project risks and report to project leader and line manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IE or ME or equivalent work experience
- Process Engineering experience 3-5 years
- Project management experience 3-5 years
- Plastics welding technologies 3-5 years
- Assembly and automation technologies 3-5 years
- MS Office Intermediate - advanced level
