Production Supervisor Injection Molding C Shift

Objective of job:

• Establish ownership of the processes through effective communication and implementation of PDI goals and objectives with a focus on personel planning, production planning, quality, safety, 5S, budget control and continuous improvment.  Emphasis placed on performance by attaining all measureables and deliverables with respect to labor efficiency, scrap reduction, PPM, first time yield, OEE, utilization, and safety.

Principal Activities:

Personnel

•     Plan associate headcount per daily production requirements.
•     Ensure all associates are properly trained to perform required job function.

Production

•     Plan schedule according to days projected requirements
•     Monitor and assist production associates in the processing and controlling of work order tickets

Quality

•     Assists in troubleshooting quality problems.
•     Monitor scrap / rework costs and coordinate improvement projects and scrap reductions plans.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years manufaturing experience
