Objective of Job
- Assure all Injection/compression molding & lamination processes comply with standards in the LIV plant
- Optimization of productivity and quality for Injection/compression molding & lamination processes installed in the LIV Plant
- Assist in planning and implementing production processes for specific technologies in a plant, for existing and new products, in cooperation with the areas of process development, process planning, equipment engineering, logistics, production and quality, with the goal of efficiently industrializing the product.
- Ensures the process engineer department runs smoothly. Also to be the technical and disciplinary leader to provide training and developmtne to the team.
- Area of responsibility: All Injection/compression molding & lamination processes in the LIV Plant
Principal Activities
- Development of department specific employee goals, breakdown and prioritizing of department goals as well as monitoring of goals, and evaluation of goal achievement
- Lead cross functional team in developing and maintaining Process FMEAs
- Ensure OSHA , safety and Environmental standards are met.
- Ensure Process Eng. department collaboration in creating requirement manuals, together with equipment engineering
- Ensure Process Eng. department cooperation in supplier performance verification in cooperation with equipment engineering and purchasing, taking into consideration the requirements in the requirements manual.
- Increase efficiency and reduce cycle times of production process for all injection/compression molding & lamination processes by optimizing process parameters or equipment
- Establish and maintain machine and process capability for production processes to eliminate waste through optimization (time, scrap, effort, etc.)
- Assist production and maintenance in isolating complex manufacturing issues within area of responsibility, material, or machine functionality related
- Ensure creation, maintenance and updates on production documentation (Process Data Sheets, Work Instructions, P-FMEA, Re-Release Sheets, etc.) as required by IATF 16949 within area of, responsibility
- Review engineering change requests (ECR) and give feedback for implementation cost
- Ensure cooperation in the Run at Rate and in process handover, analysis of deviations and the introduction of corrective actions.
- Some travel is required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or work equivalency (Automotive, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering)
- 3-5 years in Process engineering, Project management, IM and Lamination plastics technologies
- MS Office Suite intermediate to advanced level
- Industrial engineering tools
- Lean manufacturing / Problem solving tools

Pay Range: $98,000 - $127,000
