Operations 5 - Quality - Supplier QA Tech (56109)

Objective of Job

• Assure purchased parts in the plant as well as the complaint management in case of deviations from specifications

Principal Activities

•  Manage complaints (e.g. to suppliers, etc.) and coordinate relevant activities (e.g. supplier activities, etc.) including problem analysis, blocking procedures and defect correction processes.
•  Analyze supplier-related quality data including reporting and documentation.  
•  Initiate and comply with the necessary escalations. (e.g. for supplier development, etc.)
•  Develop and improve activities (e.g. supplier activities, etc.), based on guidelines, specific standards and requirements.
•  Monitor operations in the materials receiving inspection process, and timely handling of testing/inspection requests.
• Make decisions on accepting/rejecting materials
• Monitor complaint costs.
• Access rights to QSYS 8D's and other corrective & preventive action & problem-solving information.
• Authorized to prevent occurrences of non-conformances in product, process, and/or systems.
• Identify and record any problems, initiate, recommend or provide solutions to assure top quality.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
• Vocational/Technical training in a specialized field - 3-5 Years
• Microsoft Office - Basic Technical Knowledge

Pay Range: $29.75-$34.00
