Operations 5 - Process Engineering Tech (41921)

Objective of Job

• This position will be responsible for assisting production in troubleshooting downtime related issues in all assembly related processes. This position would support Process Engineering in optimizing productivity of existing programs. Ensure that production processes are followed and that they are reliable.

Principal Activities

• Assists process engineering in isolating complex manufacturing issues whether it is in process, material, or machine functionality related.
• Aids Process Engineering to reduce cycle times and increases efficiency of automated equipment.
• Investigates new technologies to enable DAA to stay competitive in Automotive Manufacturing.
• Aid Process Engineering in small project work. (Small Automation projects, PLC Projects).
• Development and management of datasheets (approved by Process Engineering). Process changes must be validated prior to implementation.
• Assist with updating and maintaining equipment drawings and any other documentation needed.
• 10% Travel is required
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Specialist Knowledge / Education: Associate: Degree or equivalent experience
• Work Experience: Automated Manufacturing 3-5 years / Automotive Manufacturing 1-2 years
• Troubleshooting: Basic Technical Knowledge
• Languages NOTE: Minimum requirement – ability to read and understand English: Advanced Level

Pay range $29.75 - $34 per hour
