Maintenance Engineer CA

Objective of Job

Maintain and provide the high level of technology in the manufacturing plant. To optimize the machine processes to improve cycle time, reduce scrap, reduce/eliminate quality defects, etc. Work with Production Engineering to execute process improvements for all carlines. Provide technical support for advance troubleshooting on complex manufacturing issues.

Principal Activities

• Assists production and maintenance in isolating complex manufacturing issues whether it is in process, material, or

machine functionality related.

• Maintain department KPI measurements for machine downtime.
• Provide continuous improvement and/or corrective actions for negative downtime trends.
• Responsible for ensuring non-defined stores items and parts required for emergency repairs are procured in a timely

manner.

• Leads Root Cause Analysis activities to eliminate catastrophic breakdowns and reduce redundant failures.
• Coordinate with purchasing to support technical purchases and warranty opportunities.
• Assist project team in the installation and signoff of new processes and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by PDD6 management to ensure optimal plant performance.
• Travel is required.

Job Requirements:

Associate Degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range:

$85,000.00 - $105,500.00
