Objective of Job

Assure all of quality functions in plant based on the standards and procedures of DRX to comply customer requirements coordinating with Sr. Quality Engineers.

This position is responsible for implementing, maintaining and controlling the response on time to customer complaints, as well as determining the corrective and preventive actions for the solution of problems with internal and external customers

 

Principal Activities

 

•           Coordinate Sr.'s Quality Engineers, distributing resources, prioritize the objectives, tasks and responsibilities in order to meet the objectives of Quality department.

•           Coordinate and monitor quality inspections, product audits, LPA’s, product validations, including safety product as defined in the respective Control Plans and SPC’s, doing the actions required to meet the target and seek continuous improvement.

•           Coordinate and monitoring the control plant process that needs to be aligned to the PFMEA and process flow.

•           Coordinate the analysis of complex cross-functional issues with respect to quality, and ensure to use of proper problem solving tools (8D's, Q. Wheel, etc.) according to DRX and customer guidelines. Read Across system should be assured to avoid repetitive defects.

•           Ensure the correct application of DPM process Quality Conformity Assurance and provide feedback for preventive and improvement system to Quality Central Functions as necessary.

•           Support and participate into continues improvement system of DRX (DPV and improvement ideas)

•           Support and ensure to customer representative with regards to the definition of corrective and preventive actions.

•           Support and ensure to customer representative with regards to the determination of special characteristics in coordination with the respective project development functions.

•           Support and follow the External / Internal Audits, including the quality tracking actions as required.

•           Support the strategic planning of the plant quality organization by breaking down or developing the strategic planning for the respective department within a short- to medium timeframe.

•           Support into the plan and administration budget for the department based on the strategic and operative goals of the quality organization.

•           Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the directed associates and supervise activities of direct reports.

•           Manages and prioritizes activities based on organization needs.    

•           Assure all procedures for his/her area met the guidelines of  Dräexlmaier Management System and Quality standard  IATF16949  y  VDA6.3.

•           Ensures timely response to Claims from Internal and External Clients.

•           Coordinate contention activities, raffles and responses to Clients.

•           Coordinate and analyze the root causes of the problem with Finished Products based on Problem Solving Tools (PPSRs, 8Ds, DDWs, 5 Phases, etc.) in the event of quality failures.

•           Ensures the definition and implementation of corrective and preventive actions for quality problems with Internal and External Clients in coordination with the responsible persons and / or areas.

•           Ensures compliance with Customer Requirements and quality standards.

•           Responsible for the Administration of Complaint Management Module in QSYS, for the achievement of timely responses to claims.

•           Ensures open lines of communication with customers in order to have quality information on product performance first hand and addresses any existing customer complaints.

•           He is responsible for relevant documentation of Claims from Internal and External Clients.

•           Responsible for the Reporting of Quality Costs in the event of Internal and External quality failures.

•           Achieve budget objectives in quality projects.

•           Authority and responsibility for releases related to quality and stoppage of product production.

•           Ensures that the procedures of the area follow the guidelines of the Dräexlmaier Management System, the quality standards IATF16949 and VDA6.3

 

Education or Specialized Skills

Industrial Engineering or similar Bachelor Degree
