Mechanical Tool Manufacture

Objective of the position
Manage the team of Mechanical Tool Manufacture and take care of the available equipment cooperating in projects to procure equipment, prototypes and/ or testing equipment;  lead/coordinate the internal build of the tools.

Principal activities

1. Conduct coordination and optimization work for the launch of new products, with regard to equipment/special equipment/ testing equipment (injection tools).
2. Clarify technical requirements and dimensions for injection tools, in cooperation with the involved departments; conduct feasibility studies.
3. Cooperate in developing goals/targets for equipment/injection tool (e.g. cycle times, personnel, utilization, etc.) in cooperation with the involved divisions.
4. Create calculations (e.g. for the bid phase, cost comparison, profitability, amortization calculations, etc.) with regard to different equipment/injection tool concepts.
5. Create and handle project planning with regard to tasks and schedules for the injection tools, according to the project’s deadlines; inform the team members.

Requirements:

• Professional career:  Bachelor's Degree

• Education: Mechanical Engineer / Industrial Engineer/ Kindred
• Language: English, 3 Advanced Level
• German: (plus)

• Relevant experience: Tool Making,
•  Industry: Automotive
• Technical knowledge: Problem solving tools, Product Integrity, Statistical Tools, Risk Analysis, Customer specific requirements, IATF 16949:2016 Standard, Excel, Functionality of injection molds, SAP, 3D Software designe.
