LPP / Logistics Planning [LPLLN]

Objective of the position

  • Participate in the continuous improvement within corporate standards of all logistics processes in the plant
  • Provide support to the Central Logistics Planning Department by taking part in defining principles and implementing standards in the plant
  • Support the collection and maintenance of the data for the capacity and resource planning of the plant and report the results to the central planning department via defined tools with the target of realizing cost savings
  • Interface to Central Transport and Packaging Planning

 

Principal activities

  1. Provide support to specify and optimize internal standards and processes according to the best practice approach, the economical point of view and according to the Central logistics planning guidelines.
  2. Participate in working out site strategies in alignment with the Central Logistics Planning Team like e.g. making feasibility studies and site examinations from a logistics point of view.
  3. Support the development and implementation of actions for sustainable logistics supply quality.
  4. Identify process improvements in the logistics area by checking regularly the layout, WH capacities, etc and planning optimization projects in the plant in alignment with the Central Logistics Planning Function.
  5. In collaboration with Industrial Engineering, participate in the creation, analysis and optimization of basic micro value streams for the plant.

 

Requirements:

  • Professional career: Bachelor's Degree
  • Education: Automotive logistics, material flow planning, packaging engineering, industrial engineering, lean production, project management, similar field (2-3 years)
  • Language: English, 2 Intermediate Level

 

 

  • Relevant experience: Layout Planning (CAD basic knowledge), Packaging Engineering, Material Flow Engineering.
  • Technical knowledge: IATF 16949:2016 Standard, ISO 14001-2015 / ISO 45001:2018, Product integrity, Specific customer requirements, Statistical tools, Troubleshooting Tools, Risk analysis, Presentation skills, Ms Office skills (Excel, PowerBI, etc), Automotive packaging standards.
