Equipment Planner

Objective of the position
Design and implement production equipment and/or processes, as well as its integration into the plant production sequences; responsible for developing equipment with several processes (in development) OR responsible for planning, procuring and developing equipment for several technology groups (in production).

Principal activities

1. Train equipment standards in foreign plants.
2. Procure non-standardized equipment (e.g. in production, etc.) as required.
3. Develop new and further develop existing equipment technologies, considering industrial safety.
4. Develop approaches to optimize automation, in cooperation with the departments involved (e.g. product development, etc.).
5. Cooperate in market analysis on the status of equipment and process technology in general, and on automation technologies and process monitoring systems.

Requirements:

• Professional career:  Bachelor's Degree
• Education: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.

• Language: English, 3 Advanced Level
• German: (plus)

• Relevant experience: Engineering discipline, automotive background, project management, DRX SEP.

• Technical knowledge: Problem solving tools, Product Integrity, Statistical Tools, Risk Analysis, Customer specific requirements, IATF 16949:2016 Standard, ISO 14001-2015 / ISO 45001:2018, Troubleshooting Tools, Risk analysis, Lean Manufacturing, Error proofing Project Management.
