Quality Specialist FMEA

We’re seeking a meticulous and results-driven Quality Specialist – FMEA to ensure robust risk identification, prevention, and mitigation across products and processes. This role plays a critical part in strengthening the plant’s quality strategy by applying Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) methodologies to proactively identify potential failures, reduce risks, and enhance product reliability

Core Responsibilities:

• Identify the risks on the production process and estimate their criticality
• Perform a risk analysis using FMEA methods
• Control of the application of procedures and work instructions and cooperate for the optimization of standards/processes/products.
• Coordinate with the FMEA manager at the VIB central to standardize the production process
• Plan risk analysis meetings following internal and external deviations, technical changes (Process / Product)
• Follow-up of control instructions.
• Claims handling on QSYS
• Participation in risk management meetings and participation in the implementation of emergency plans
• Plan reverse FMEA to check the implemented actions
• Follow-up of corrective actions resulting from process control
• Preparation and checks of quality data
• Participate in the continuous improvement process of the DRX.
• Ensure collaboration with the different departments, such as: Production, Logistics and planning
• Ensure waste management, environmental control and emergency response in their area of responsibility.
• Independently executing or initiating regular inspections of processes, production, material, and products of the current series for the confirmation of product safety for proper and predictable use or misuse and the introduction as well as tracking of (immediate) measures in the case of relevant deviations.
• Contributing to, developing, and setting priorities for eliminating or preventing product safety-relevant defects in the product development phase (error prevention).  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Min 3 years of experience in the field of quality management in automotive sector.
• Good mastery of problem solving methodology
• Good level in English Language / or German
