Production Deputy Manager Jemmel Site

To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Deputy Manager to strengthen our operations team and contribute to achieving outstanding production performance, premium manufacturing standards, effective team management, and continuous improvement.

Your Mission

• Lead and supervise production teams to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets.
• Coordinate production activities and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and other departments.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, costs, and production performance, ensuring achievement of production and PPM objectives.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, safety, fire protection, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage workforce discipline, attendance, housekeeping, and task allocation.
• Prepare and analyze production reports, statistics, and performance data.
• Support audits and ensure continuous improvement of production and EHS management systems.
• Promote a culture of operational excellence, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Lead, train, motivate, and develop employees.
•  Manage recruitment, leave approvals, and workforce planning in cooperation with the Human Resources department.
• Authorize and sign employment-related documents, including contracts, references, and termination notices, in accordance with company policies.
• Escalate process deviations and performance issues to the relevant Process Manager, Process Owner, or Head of Department.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives within the area of responsibility in coordination with Process Managers and Process Owners.

What You Bring 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in production management.
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills
• Fluent in English and French; German is an advantage.

Additional knowledge and Competencies

• Good knowledge of MES, SQL, SBS, IPST Masq, and reporting tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, FMEA, PLP, and JIT manufacturing principles.
• Understanding of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements and environmental policies.
• Committed to occupational health and safety, risk prevention, waste management, and environmental cost reduction.
• Ability to support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the effectiveness of EHS committees and management systems.
