As Plant Manager of our Jemmal facility, you will lead a high‑performance manufacturing environment where operational excellence, quality, and innovation drive every decision. In this strategic leadership role, you will ensure that our plant delivers world‑class performance in productivity, cost efficiency, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while inspiring and developing a strong, accountable workforce.

Mission:

To lead Jemmal plant to operational and strategic excellence by ensuring competitive, high‑quality production aligned with market requirements, optimizing cost efficiency, and fully supporting the long‑term objectives of the business unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of short-, mid-, and long‑term budgets and investment plans aligned with business strategy.
• Translate strategic goals into actionable targets and drive their execution with all department leaders.

• Ensure effective workforce planning, staffing, and capability building.
• Enable optimal capacity utilization based on demand and budget.
• Lead all training and development initiatives within the plant.

• Oversee seamless production planning, manufacturing, and on‑time delivery of customer orders.
• Monitor KPIs, output, and inventory levels; implement corrective actions where needed.
• Drive operational stability and continuous process reliability.

• Ensure compliance with all quality specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
• Lead scrap/defect analysis and implement ongoing quality improvement actions.
• Guard the consistent application of work instructions throughout the plant.

• Identify opportunities to optimize processes, systems, and structures for higher productivity and cost efficiency.
• Champion Lean, CI, and waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional projects and encourage employee innovation.

• Support decisions regarding new investments, equipment purchases, and layout designs.
• Guarantee equipment availability through preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ensure all plant infrastructures meet DRX standards.

• Lead, motivate, and develop the plant’s leadership team and workforce.
• Execute personnel decisions in close alignment with HR and senior leaders.

Key Metrics & Scope

• Full budget and investment responsibility for the Jemmal plant
• Direct reports include: Logistics, Quality, Production Assembly harnesses, Engineering Change Management, HSE, and Plant HR

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering (or equivalent technical background)
• Excellent knowledge of automotive manufacturing, products, and competitive landscape
• Strong understanding of regulatory and quality frameworks (HSE, IATF, VDA, ISO)
• Experience with CI/Lean/REFA methodologies

• 10+ years of proven leadership experience in the automotive sector
• Fluent in English German will be an asset

• Training or certification in:
• IATF 16949
• ISO 14001
• ISO 45001
