Commodity Buyer Injection Moulding (m/w/d)

We are looking for an employee for our Purchasing Departmentt in Jelenia Góra. We are looking for open-minded, flexible people who are enthusiastic about their tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring and optimizing the procurement of plastic injection moulding components
• Selecting suppliers in the acquisition/project phase, taking into account the commodity roadmap
• Conducting supplier negotiations using innovative negotiation methods
• Initiating cost reduction measures and implementing cost/value analyses
• Sustainability - Ensuring the sustainable supply chain in the supplier portfolio
• Digital Transformation - implementation of the DRÄXLMAIER IT roadmap in the area of responsibility
• Search, evaluation and selection of new suppliers, as well as maintenance and coordination of long-term strategic supplier relationships
• Lead contract negotiations and annual negotiations across the supplier panel and ensure compliance with all strategic objectives

Requirements:

• Academic degree in Business or Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Min. 2 years of experience purchasing in a high pressure environment, preferably in the automotive industry
• product and process knowledge in the field of Injection Moulding
• Strong negotiation skills and a goal-oriented approach to work
• Result-oriented, entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Fluent English or German mandatory
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office tools
