Logistics Operations Specialist

Mission

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist Operations to support and optimize transport and packaging activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating transportation flows, managing packaging processes, monitoring logistics KPIs, and ensuring smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• • Coordinate transport and packaging activities with regional logistics teams and transport providers.
  • Plan, monitor, and manage inbound and outbound transportation flows.
  • Organize transport reservations and ensure timely delivery execution.
  • Manage transport-related transactions through SAP, BISS, TISS, and HOST systems.
  • Track and analyze logistics KPIs to support operational performance.
  • Coordinate trailer movements and communicate directly with drivers and transport companies.
  • Prepare and manage transport and customs documentation.
  • Collaborate with customs, transit services, purchasing, production, IT, and other departments.
  • Ensure availability and proper management of returnable and empty packaging.
  • Monitor packaging inventories and maintain accurate reports.
  • Support process improvements, system updates, and user training activities.
  • Contribute to cost optimization initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), Quality, and company policies.

Requirements

• • Bachelor's degree or Equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of logistics and inventory management, ideally gained in an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Good command of English.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
