About the Role

 

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Deputy Production Manager to support and optimize our production operations. In this role, you will ensure operational excellence, high-quality standards, and continuous improvement while leading teams in a fast-paced automotive environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  •  Team Leadership
    • Supervise, guide, and motivate production teams to achieve operational goals.
    • Ensure discipline, cleanliness, and compliance with working schedules.
  •  Production Coordination & Performance
    • Coordinate daily production activities to meet quality and quantity targets.
    • Monitor KPIs and ensure 100% performance achievement in minutes and PPM objectives.
    • Collaborate closely with the Quality Department to ensure flawless output.
  •  Process & Compliance Management
    • Ensure compliance with production standards and safety.
    • Participate in internal and external audits and ensure readiness.
  •  Reporting & Analysis
    • Track daily, weekly, and monthly production data and performance metrics.
    • Prepare reports, dashboards, and statistics for management.
    • Monitor production cost centers and support budget control.
  • Cost & Efficiency Optimization
    • Contribute to reducing additional costs and quality-related losses.
    • Support the planning, monitoring, and adherence to annual production budgets.
  •  Administrative & Operational Support
    • Oversee accurate shift data (incl. bonus calculations).
    • Organize and allocate tasks within the team efficiently.
    • Apply disciplinary actions when necessary in alignment with management.

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  •  Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
  •  Strong leadership and organizational skills
  •  Advanced proficiency in English
  •  Solid computer skills (Excel, reporting tools, ERP systems)

 

Additional Assets:

 

  • German language skills
  • Knowledge of VDA 6.3 standards
  • Experience with FMEA / PLP methodologies
