Objective of job

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing, communication and publication strategies in

accordance to the corporate communications strategies and CI guidelines to strengthen brand and image of
the DRÄXLMAIER Group in the USA internally and externally by using the available communications channels.

  • Assisting with the promotion of corporate mission, brand and programs of the DRÄXLMAIER Group in the USA

using the available marketing channels internally and externally.


Spring Rotation: January 10 - May 13


Principal activities:

  • Researches, writes and edits news articles for selected in-house publications (e.g. D-REPORT, D-WORLD,


  • Assists in layout / page design of the D-REPORT company newsletter.
  • Supports development and implementation of strategies to promote employee recruitment and employee

retention in close cooperation with HR / Recruitment USA.

  • Uploads photo and other materials to D-MEDIATHEK database for later use in internal media outlets.
  • Supports development of personnel marketing campaigns in close cooperation with HR / Recruitment USA.
  • Supports management / departments in all types of communication such as presentations, events, speeches,


  • Assists with organization of internal events (e.g. Family Day, Service Awards, Christmas Party).
  • Assists in development of content for social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Twitter).
  • Participates at career fairs, job fairs, trade shows, industry events and other external events.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in progress within the field of Communications, Journalism, or Marketing
  • Completed three semesters towards degree
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Complete three alternating rotations for co-op positions
  • Able to work in the US indefinitely and without restrictions
