Summer 2026 Facility Maintenance Co-Op (65315)

Objective of job

Provide support to the department with CAD management and other tools (software) for planning production services, space layouts and design, and support for maintenance activity.

Principal activities:

• Providing support to the creation of plans for offices
• Provide support for creating installation service plans
• Provide support for inventory control and movement spaces
• Provide support indicators and load factors spaces
• Providing support for the planning of activities and movements logistics spaces
• Provide logistics support for the restoration of spaces
• Provide preliminary support for supplies
• Providing support for management control and as built drawings
• Provide and implement projects receiving
• Provide and implement actions leading to continuous improvement
• Promote and participate 6 S
• Supports FM functions for equipment maintenance and engineering disciplines
• Document control projects and updating drawings, documents, files that are critical to FM
• Meet with internal clients/customers to support projects
• Set up meetings and create required documents to support projects
• Summary of all projects undertaken at end of term
• Works on cost quotes with outside contractors, service companies
• Helps to develop maintenance standards

Job and Work Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in progress within the field of ME/EE/Civil Eng
• Completed three semesters towards degree
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Complete three alternating rotations for co-op positions
• Able to work in the US indefinitely and without restrictions
• Experienced AutoCad
• Interpretation and reading of drawings, schematics, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Interpersonal skills
• Project management knowledge
