Objective of job

Plan and implement a cost and process optimized raw material supply chain for the global DRÄXLMAIER plants with buy parts in projects and series.

 

Principle activities

  • Plan and implement logistics processes for buy parts from supplier to availability in the production plan with planning of stock target, implement scheduling mode, define delivery routes, frequencies and lot sizes, implement planning requirements e.g. from logistics or industrialization workshops, maintain relevant master data
  • Execute complex carline projects (e.g. design of delivery routes taking into account customs and tax aspects, conduct calculations, etc.)
  • Create and ensure implementation of global standards, guidelines, methods and tools (e.g. for efficient raw material planning and supply, etc.)
  • Introduce and advance standards, supply concepts and logistics agreements
  • Participate in supplier selection
  • Responsibility for logistics topics and logistics costs in the supplier selection process
  • Conduct supplier meetings (e.g. project topics, logistics agreements, etc.),
  • Act as internal and external contact person (e.g. for any inbound topic) within the own functional area, join in internal working groups (e.g. regular global logistics meetings)
  • Create internal publications (e.g. documentation) and if applicable presentation (internal)

 

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management
  • Automotive industry experience 3-5 years with Automotive Industry Standards (VDA 6.3)
  • Knowledge of  IATF 16949:2016 Standard and ISO 14001-2015 / ISO 45001:2018
  • Experience with Risk analysis
  • German language – intermediate level
  • Microsoft Office Suite intermediate level
  • ERP systems experience
