Objective of job

  • Executes the recruiting process for assigned sites within the US, including the entire selection process of both internal and external candidates and the initial processing of all new hires. Also, responsible to ensure all processes and systems related to recruiting are utilized, adhered to and improved to meet best practices and assure legal compliance.


Principle activities

  • Work with hiring managers to determine solutions for staff needs, internal job postings, college internships and coops, and external hires.
  • Manage all job openings for assigned sites by determining candidate sourcing avenues, job sites, outside recruiting agencies, job fairs and College career fairs, as well as, selecting the best sources to advertise job openings and implementing programs to assist the recruiting process.
  • Coordinate with recruiters, interviewers and other staff for candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, candidate selection, extending offers, and other activities leading up to first day in position.
  • Develop, propose, and revise guidelines in cooperation with Head of Talent Acquisition to ensure recruiting strategies align with the organization's policies and goals.
  • Ensure all recruitment related policies and procedures are clearly defined and make recommendations, as needed to stay competitive to market trends and ensure legal compliance.
  • Work with Head of Talent Acquisition and OD to develop and conduct interview and recruiting process training for hiring managers, also coaching and supporting where needed.
  • Oversee the recruiting process for assigned sites.
  • Meet global, regional, and local KPIs for recruiting.
  • Develop and recommend improvements to recruiting strategies to ensure job openings are filled in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Stay abreast of market practices, trends, and federal, state, and local laws (i.e. background screenings, applicant tracking, resume retention, etc…)
  • Provide insight on growing industry trends regarding jobs, salaries and other topics related to human resources, works with compensation and development personnel to assist in job analysis.
  • Perform research and recommendation of suitable staffing agencies for sourcing of flexible workforce, as well as, professional positions. Coordinate with staffing providers on contract negotiations, selection of suppliers, etc. as directed  
  • Support and participate in the on-going recruiting projects and people planning objectives for the business.
  • Knowledgeable of the technical areas for which positions are being recruited.
  • Closely work with all areas of human resources to ensure quality of services provided to new and current employees.
  • Performs other duties as needed or requested by Talent Acquisition and HR leaders


Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, 3-5 years
  • Candidate Sourcing, 3-5 years
  • Experience with E-Recruiting and/or another Applicant Tracking System(s)
  • Knowledge of online job boards and recruiting platforms
  • Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work well with all cultures
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
