Senior Quality Process Manager

POSITION:  Senior Quality Process Manager  

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for defined improvement projects related to quality processes in all departments of the plant. Identify and analyze possibilities and sources of errors as well as initiate measures in order to eliminate / avoid quality problems (Zero-Defect-Strategy). Operational support to organizational units in the plant for quality problems. Provide quality expertise and prioritization to the organization. Customize quality practices and tools to fit needs. Support plant management team in developing, implementing and maintaining quality training programs for all associates in quality and operations. Promote and implement preventive quality techniques during the entire production process. Search, find and promote new methods and conveys all concerned parties to long-range quality consciousness. Ensure that the fundamental group quality concepts, practices and tools are understood and used by all employees. Advocate continuous improvement across the organization in coordination with the responsible technical departments. Actively drive the analysis of corrective and preventive actions in case of deviations from the defined requirements. This position requires 10% domestic and international travel. Teleworking is permitted within a reasonable commuting distance of the Duncan, SC office, up to 20% of the time.

REQUIREMENTS

Main Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a closely related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Consultant Quality Processes, Head of Quality, Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Manager, or a closely related occupation.

Alternate Experience: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in stated fields and five (5) years of stated experience, employer will accept seven (7) years of related experience of quality or engineering in a high volume automotive environment, Interiors Production, including Injecting molding and no related degree.

Special Skills: Also requires experience in the following:

• Product Liability and Safety;
• ISO/TS16949, VDA6.3;
• ADONIS;
• Control Plan, FMEA Failure mode defect analysis, and Process Flow;
• Product audit and quality inspections;
• QSYS (RQMS, PMM, SPC), CUBE; and
• B2B customer portals.
