Objective of job

Advise operational management on the subjects of corporate security/safety/ fire protection as well as monitor and implement relevant measures and assure compliance for the Americas

 

Principle activities

  • The implementation of standardized work processes and procedures related to Security and Compliance (e.g. CTPAT, FTZ, OEA)
  • Monitor, input and output on all related KPI’s for the Americas
  • Acts as the regional coordinating unit and multiplier for international corporate Security Management
  • Responsible for the protection and security of people, operational infrastructures, material assets and informational values,
  • Responsible to implement the local emergency management into the company crisis management
  • Work together with the local security service providers and will ensure that they work correctly; based on the existing directives and in agreement with the head of Corporate Security. The range of duties and other details on the work of the local security service staff will be adapted and documented,
  • Ensures that all the employees of the company are informed of the directives on the topic of security (e.g. information on travel safety, conduct at the workplace)
  • Ensures the setup, operation and development of the security organization within the company,
  • Adapts the guidelines and rules on security to regional conditions as per agreement with the head of Corporate Security and is responsible for updating them,
  • Interfaces with those responsible for occupational safety / fire protection and information security in order to avoid loss,
  • Key contact on all security-related issues and incidents to the Head of SI Americas, and SI3
  • Responsible for all CCTV control and access programs for each site responsible
  • Responsible for all Site/Physical/ International Security Activities:
  • Corporate security in scouting and evaluating housing facilities/offices/hotels as applicable
  • Point of contact for all SOS service providers and for inquires made by the authorities
  • Point of contact for all security related drills, including canine, contraband, active shooter
  • Point of contact for expats and travel policy

 

Job Requirements

 Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

 Technical job related knowledge in Law Enforcement or Military

 3- 5 years experience working in Security and Fire Systems related experience
