TITLE:                      POSITION:  Project Leader Development       

 

JOB DUTIES: Manage and coordinate overall projects for automobile parts manufacturing based on customer requirements. Ensure product development and support which is on schedule, adheres to the budget and the development (product & process) status, from the concept phase through series production as per agreement with the Program Manager and the Management while adhering to the defined project targets and the available resources. Cooperate in B-level and A-level projects. Create project plans/concepts and assure they are followed (e.g. resource planning, schedule planning, cost planning, etc.) in cooperation with technical or key project leaders. Act as interface between involved internal/external areas and Development. This position requires 10% domestic and 20% international travel. Teleworking is permitted within a reasonable commuting distance of the Duncan, SC office, up to 50% of the time.

REQUIREMENTS

Main Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Lead Design Engineer, Principal Lead Designer, Engineering Technologist, Design Engineer, Product Design Engineer, or a closely related occupation.

 

Special Skills: Also requires experience in the following:

 

  • 3 years development of interior automotive parts;
  • 2 years Automotive Industry Product Development/Tool Design;
  • IATF 16949 Standard;
  • ISO 14001/ISO 45001;
  • General Dimensional and Tolerancing ISO 1101 / ASME Y14.5;
  • Development Process Management;
  • Adonis Process 9, 14, 15;
  • Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM); and
  • Catia V5.
