Act as financial service provider by supporting management descisions with accurate and up to date information. Actively facilitate good relationships with information receivers and information sources. Drive implementation of DRX standards in the region when available, actively persue information exchange between the US, Mexico and Germany DRX locations.


Principle Activities


  • Support for all IS material related month closing activities acccording to closing timeline.
  • Support all aspects of inventory controlling and anlysis for IS segment.
  • Enforce Draexlmaier procedures for inventory control and valuation.
  • Support annual physical inventory and periodic cycle counts at all Americas locations; drive improvement of inventory accuracy; review inventory adjustments and cycle count descrepancies; investigate, analyse and provide resolution
  • Monitor cost of parts to ensure proper valuation.
  • Conduct obsolesence evaluation for electric plant NSL warehouses in the region.
  • Secondary contact for all material concerns for external and internal audits.
  • Support coordination and validation all volumes, sales price & material with Sales and minutes with Production during all planning related activities (e.g. Budget, FCST, Strat Planning and Monthly Projections).
  • Support for DRX Product Report Interiors: monthly adjustments and reporting, coordinate information sources and facilitiy regular meetings with local Sales and IS Sales Controlling.
  • Support Project Controller for all Interiors series projects.
  • Financial business partner for HPL's and FPL's for all assigned carline development projects.
  • Support Main Project Controller for Nafta IS carlines.
  • Support BEP for the acquisition phase of assigned “A Projects” in collaboration with the COC and the project teams in order to support the sales division negotiations.   
  • Support review and validate the project budgeting process, prepare and submit the respective project requests and all subsequent requests concerning project budgets.
  • Support all necessary BEP revisions for assigned development projects in the management provided timeline. Review and validate BEP data provided by project team members. Ensure that data provided reflects the premises that were decided upon as basis for BEP.
  • Monthly preparation and distribution (in PLM) of project budget vs actuals to HPL's/ FPL's. Ad hoc reports and analysis for project teams as requested.
  • Support the yearly budgeting/ forecasting process by providing up to date information of project expenses, project hours and project investments.
  • Complete all assigned monthly closing activities according to the communicated closing timeline.
  • Process purchase requisitions and travel requests in a timely manner, provide "budgeted yes/no" information if required.
  • Special projects as needed. 


Job Requirements

  Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in finance and accounting

  1-2 years of finance/accounting experience; Automotive Industry preferred

  Proficient using Microsoft Office products and SAP
