Production Tech Lead- A Shift (58034)

Objective of job:

• Technical leadership and guidance of operational employees in production in coordination with the disciplinary manager, Support the supervisor in order to guarantee the material process flow meets customer requirements and internal business targets. 

Principal activities:

• Ensure technical training and training documentation is properly completed and submitted.
• Act as a contact person for operational employees and relevant interfaces within the area of responsibility.
• Coordinate employees and machine usage to provide stable efficiency and productivity for defined area.
• Support the disciplinary manager in improving work processes.
• Provide recommendations to supervisor regarding disciplinary actions, associate development, including cross-training, time-off/PTO and schedule changes to assure daily production quotas.
• Supports company policies and procedures and ensures they are followed.
• Identify quality issues and troubleshoot to resolution with production team.
• Be cooperative with co-workers to promote a good working environment.
• Adjust labor to increase efficiency based on customer demand and inventory.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Proper communication in pre-shift and end-of-shift, including accurate documentation.
• Ensure hourly production targets are met for assigned line/area.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years Manufacturing experience. 
• Previous lead experience is a plus.
