Objective of Job:
- Ensuring the definition of globally valid segment-specific standards for core processes in the function Procurement as part of Governance M
- Assisting in the implementation of process-, procedure- and IT- system optimizations in global Procurement; Establish conditions for coordinated process optimizations including successful roll-outs
Implementation of subject-specific processes (risk management and contract management) and professional assurance of cross-functional tasks.
Principle Activities:
- Participation in the optimization of existing processes/systems in M organization
- Support in the implementation of training concepts (train the trainer, key user training)
- Contribute as representative M in cross-functional projects
- Coordination of systems troubleshooting in the Americas in cooperation with MG
- Creating reporting on a local level
- Coordination, communication with the relevant interfaces for supplier risk and contract management
- Coordination & communication with the relevant interfaces (e.g. insolvency administrator, service provider, legal department)
- Developing and creating methods, tools and processes for supplier risk management
- Ensuring the knowledge transfer of these methods, tools, processes to other specialist areas
- Carrying out research/observation of trends in risk/contract management
- Support in the implementation of systems and their continuous optimization
- Derivation of proposals / measures for supplier decisions and necessary emergency strategies
- Preparation and implementation of specialist committees (e.g. Supplier Risk Committee etc.)
- Technical support and advice to the specialist departments in risk assessment
- Negotiating and supporting the creation of supplier contracts.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree
- Specialist Knowledge: highly proficient in a technical, scientific or specialized field built on a thorough understanding of theoretical concepts and principles and their context).
Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience surrounding purchasing systems management / administration; advanced skills.
- 1-2 years of experience surrounding systems Improvements / Integration / Testing / Roll-out
- 1-2 years surrounding development, improvement, streamlining, etc. of business and systems policies, processes, procedures, etc.
- 1-2 years of experience surrounding Auditing, Direct / Indirect Procurement Management / Project Procurement Management / Multi-site Operations and Support.
- 1-2 years performing training relevant to business and systems policies, processes, procedures, etc.
