Personnel Development & Training Specialist

Objective

This position will be responsible for the coordination and management of internal talent management, personnel development, and training programs for all US locations.

Ensuring consistency of all PD tools, instruments, and program initiatives.  It is also for responsible for supporting the training and development department.

 

Principle Activities

Conducts learning needs assessments drawing on data from our annual Employee survey, Performance Management System, Talent Assessment and Succession Planning activities

Conducts assessment centers and interviews to identify strengths and interests.

Assists with Focus Group and Survey initiatives.

Prepare and maintain employee development plans

Coordinates both external and internal training identified during performance reviews

Assist with leadership training and coaching initiatives for US locations

Conducts training and facilitates company roll-out initiatives and programs

Assist with creation, development, and implementation of ILT trainings, online trainings, and training programs for US

Coordinates the learning program including annual Lunch and Learns, Performance management training, and advising on unique functional or individual learning requirements

Create synergies with other DRX locations to ensure standardization.

Maintains training records (evaluations, certificates, participation lists)

Responsible for ensuring training for all new hires, transfers, and re-training due to changes and new projects

Ensures that the necessary follow-up and evaluation takes place for all learning programs

Publicizes, markets, promotes and acts as a point person for all learning programs

Assists employees of the organization in career path initiatives to help with career objectives

Assists with apprenticeship program as needed

 

Job Requirements

 Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

 3-5 years experience with Training & Development work

 3-5 years of Leadership Development

 3-5 years of People Development and Coaching
