Operations 4 Facility Tech (58932)

Objective of the Job:

• Install, Maintain, Repair Machinery and/or Equipment.
• Maintain Buildings and Technical systems.
• Manufacture/install Equipment.

Principal Activities:

• Install complex equipment and check mechanically, electrically, etc. for correct function; adjust and/or rework as required.
• Working knowledge of HVAC with the Ability to Troubleshoot, Perform Preventative Maintenance, and repair units.
•  Identify, Analyze, troubleshoot, and install Electrical Systems , i.e. Conduit; MC Cables; Lighting, panels, etc.
• Determine part requirements, provide parts and request part procurement.
• Determine causes of defects/shutdowns in sometimes complex equipment with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, etc. components; use diagnostic systems as required.
• Conduct difficult maintenance and repair tasks on complex technical equipment (ie., building, fixtures, machinery, instruments, etc.).
• Follow up and coordinate activities for efficient energy usage, lighting system, predictive maintenance, and lightning/grounding systems.
• Participate in the development of work instructions and procedures for maintenance activities.

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree or 5 Years of Related Work Experience.
• On Call Regularly.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills.
• Must be Goal Orientated and Show Initiative.
• Heights up to 50 feet.
• Basic computer skills Ie., Email, Microsoft Office.
