Operations 3 - Production - Team Leader B Shift (29857)

Objective of job:

• To monitor/assist production assemblers and material handlers; to support the supervisor in order to guarantee that the material process flow meets customer requirements and internal business targets.

Principal Activities: 

• Ensure technical training and training documentation is properly completed and submitted.
• Act as a contact person for quality issues within the area of responsibility.
• Carry out small part repairs.
• Supoport in improving work processes and suggest improvements.
• Perform various activities at different work stations as required (jumper).
• Coordinate employees and machine usage to provide stable efficiency and productivity for defined area.
• Provide recommendations to supervisors regarding disciplinary actions, associate development, including cross-training, time-off/PTO and schedule changes to assure daily production quotas.
• Ensures and supports company policies and procedures and ensures they are followed.
• Identify quality issues and troubleshoot to resolution with production team.
• Monitor and assist in housekeeping (according to 6S principles), safety, environmental conditions, including emergency situations.
• Be cooperative with co-workers to promote a good working environment.
• Adjusting labor to increase efficiency based on customer demand and inventory.
• Participation in continuous improvement projects.
• Proper communication in pre-shift and end-of-shift, including accurate documentations.
• Ensuring hourly production targets are met for assigned line/area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• 3-5 years Manufactuing Experience
