Operations 2 - IM - Resin Tech B-Shift (63598)

Objective of Job:

• To provide support to the injection molding department by pre-staging and delivering the proper quanitities and types of resin and colorants (materials) to each of the injection molding machine. 

Principal Activities:

•    Safely operate PIT's in order to deliver necessary materials to the injection molding department.
•    Correctly stage and transport materials with labels affixed correctly.
•    Effectively communicate with team leaders and supervisors problems with the material flow, absence of parts, and safety/quality concerns.
•    Determine part and material availability and report shortages.
•    Receive, sort, and distribute goods/materials and book them in and out according to instructions, if necessary.
•    Ensure injection molding machines are ready to operate by SMED principles pre-staging material to the injection molding floor and driers.
•    Complete TPM duties as assigned for drying and loading equipment.
•    Performs PIT inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order and follows all safety guidelines for the work area.
•    Monitors driers/loaders and color mixers/blenders to ensure proper operation and ensure press up time related to materials.
•    Prepare work areas to ensure materials needed are available and equipment is in proper working order.
•    Support the quality technicians and process technicians in the identification of root cause by giving them the required information.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 Year Manufacturing Experience.
• Show Initiative.
• Attention to Detail, i.e. read labels to verify quantities, part numbers and description.
• Goal Orientated.
• Strong Communication and Teamwork.
