Maintenance Supervisor B Shift (64651)

Objective of job:

• To ensure the smooth operation of production equipment on a daily basis. 

Principal activities:

• Oversee the repair and rebuilding of all production equipment.
• Provide feedback on spare part issues to Maintenance Engineer.
• Provides daily preventive maintenance according to TPM checklist generated in Optimain.
• Provide feedback to Maintenance Engineer on usefulness of current PM and any ideas to improve.
• Assess Maintenance Techs for level of competency for equipment knowledge and safety regulations.
• Develop trainings for Maintenance Techs in cooperation with HR that are within budget.
• Maintain production equipment uptime above targeted set by Draexlmaier Management.
• Procure all needed tools for Maintenance Techs to success in the daily duties within budget.
• Create and maintain Maintenance Tech work schedules.
• Interview and hire new Maintenance Techs when positions are approved.

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of Automotive Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Familiar with TS16949.
• 3 to 5 years of Manufacturing Maintenance Electrical/Mechanical.
• 3 to 5 years of Root Cause Analysis experience.
• Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics preferred.
