Operations 2 -Logistics - Electrical Material Handler (57674)

Job Objective:

• Check in and unload trucks.
• Perform simple part inspections.
• Transport material appropriately and safely.

Principal Activities:

• Inspect incoming parts/goods/materials for clearly recognizable damage (e.g. packaging, part/material, etc.); make yes/no decisions .
• Assemble and forward transported goods documentation (e.g. accompanying papers, packing slips, hazardous materials documentation, etc.) according to the order.
• Book parts/goods/material in and out to specified storage locations (e.g. holding areas, blocked (JFD) materials storage, customs warehouse, etc.) according to guidelines/instructions
• Receive, sort, distribute, unpack, book in, label, repack and stretch foil wrap parts/goods/material; if necessary.
• Perform specific tasks using hand-held Scanners (ie. moving media to media and warehouse to warehouse).
• Performs PIT inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order and follows all safety guidelines for the work area.

Job Requirements:

• Highschool Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 Years of Manufacturing Experience.
• Turret Certification.
• Sit-Down Forklift Certification.
• Stand-Up Forklift Certification.
• Overhead Crane/Hoist.
