Tasks:
- Responsible for the research and development of components/ assemblies of components in injection molding, from concept phase to series production;
- Carry out and documentation of feasibility analyses, risk analyses, process-appropriate component design, material selection, defining process requirements, process validation, tool design, process definition, parameterization and possible further development of components;
- Conduct conceptual activities within his/ her area of expertise;
- Development of product and process specifications as well as test procedures/ standards (e.g.: participation in specifications for requirements manual, preparation of process validation plans, etc.)
- Implementation of tests and analyses of carrier parts using standard procedures, in coordination with project in order to achieve the desired results and interpretation of results;
- Identify and analyze problems and develop proposed solutions, increasing the level of maturity and supporting practical implementation into series production (at series plant location);
- Independent process engineering project work in accordance with SEP work packages;
- Preparation, development and release of result documentation (e.g. test samples, deviations/ defects on the plastic carrier part) in coordination with project schedules;
- Presentation of the developed concepts internally.
Profile:
- Bachelor Degree in a technical field;
- +3 years of experience in Automotive;
- Knowledge about plastic injection molding process;
- Very good communication skills in English;
- German language is an advantage;
- Willingness to travel;
- Independent, responsible and careful work;
- Analytical skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Very good communication skills, team–player and self-motivated;
- Strong willingness to learn, grow and to further develop.
