We are looking for an IT-OT solution expert that will join the Operations Engineering Center IS team in our plant within Codlea, Brasov.

 

As an IT/OT Solution Expert, you ensure end-to-end data consistency from machine level to enterprise systems in line with DSN (DRÄXLMAIER Supply Net). You support global plants and project teams during planning, commissioning, and continuous improvement of production equipment—driving robust interfaces, compliance with IT/OT standards, and measurable maturity increases across the network.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure end-to-end data consistency from shopfloor machines to enterprise systems according to Dräxlmaier Standards
  • Drive and align IT/OT connectivity across technologies such as PLC, OPC UA, Shopfloor Integration Bus, Cloud applications and MES.
  • Contribute to equipment specifications and design (requirements, interfaces, standards) with IT/OT aspects in mind.
  • Create and maintain Reporting-Tools and Visualization tools to make data accessible (mainly by MS Power BI)
  • Support global compliance with IT/OT standards across plants, including checks, training, and qualification of key users.
  • Participate in carline projects by providing the machine control concepts (workflow descriptions), IT/OT requirement integrations and on-site testings (SIB tests).
  • Act as the key interface between suppliers/system programmers, plant OT, and central IT (MES & shopfloor visualization), supporting releases and IoT-related topics.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • University degree;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in the automotive sector;
  • "System affinity" (e.g. PLM systems, Teamcenter, SAP);
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP;
  • Advanced knowledge of English is a must, German is considered an advantage;
  • Very good communication skills, analytical and teamwork abilities.
