Environmental, Health & Safety Officer

Objective of job
▪Responsible of implementation and maintaining of Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety relevant topics.
▪To comply with Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety legal and DRX standard

Principle activities
▪Advise management in all Occupational Health and Safety relevant topics (e.g. planning, implementing, checking and action) to comply with the law and develop it for ongoing efficiency.
▪Observe the implementation of industrial safety, occupational health, fire protection and accident prevention (e.g. walk through the work areas and report the inadequacies , as well as suggest actions for their elimination; inspect work accidents; train safety personnel; cooperate in approval of hazardous materials and creating instruction for their use, etc.).
▪Laise and coordinate of Fire Fighting System and work with contractors and S.I Dept on inspections , rectifications and trainings.
▪To update the Occupational Health and Safety, and Environment legal based on monthly, and evaluation to ensure all of legal requirement has implemented as required.
▪To analyze the work to indicate possible dangers, including setting and presenting preventive measures and procedures for working safety to employer.
▪To assess the risk in the area of occupational safety (e.g. new processes, products, and new activities).
▪To inspect and assess the operation of the workplace to comply with the work plan and project, or occupational safety measures.
▪To give advice and train the employees to work safely and without any risk of dangers.
▪To examine and appraise the working conditions.
▪To analyze and investigate the causes of accidents, disturbances or illness resulting from working of the employees, and make a report of the investigation, together with suggesting resolution, promptly to the employer.
▪To compile statistical data, analyze, make a report and to give recommendations on accident, illness or disturbance caused by working of the employees.
▪Plan, organize and conduct trainings on first aid, occupational health, environmental.
▪Perform emergency medical care in case of illnesses or accidents on the premises. Creating, updating and maintaining the EHS emergency plan (e.g. fire, medical, etc.)
▪To control Hazardous Material (e.g. registration, updating the hazardous material, creating instruction, label for users, training in chemical safety working for employees
▪To control the first aid room (e.g. medical statistics/reports, medical investigation, treatment, care and advice patients, occupational health, health report; accident reports, treatment protocols for patient records, medicines and medical supplies checking and ordering, etc.)

▪To advice on 6S activity (e.g. planning, implementing, checking and action coordinate with all section etc.)
▪To plan the training on Occupational Health and Safety for new employees, creating the reports, certification.
▪Perform risk assessment refer IS045001, Environmental aspect analysis refer IS014001 for all activities in the plant, update for any changes, and control to use in the areas.
▪Support the safety machine release with project team and S.I Dept
▪Coordinate in regarding of the EHS trainings
▪Manage the safety contractors to ensure that the safety regulations are followed. To check and monitoring the contractor works according to work permit instruction. Perform the safety contractor training.
▪To advice using the personal protective equipment (PPE), control stock to ensure that any PPE is available for employees.
▪Planning, Conducting work environment measurement required by law (e.g. lighting, Noise, Air quality, Pollution released to environment, soil and groundwater contamination etc.)
▪Waste coordinator (e.g. Coordinate with waste disposal contractors for waste release, permission and disposal, recording, monitoring, etc.)
▪Preparation of a EHS monthly report, and input data into the EHS KPls and monitoring .
▪Create the Shopping cart to Order EHS
▪Implementation of the global EHS Standards and ADONIS processes at the site.
▪Preparation of a yearly EHS management review.
▪Management of fire protection measures at the sites.

Special authorizations (e.g. powers of attorney, guidelines competence, authorities, information rights, references to legal or standards-relevant authorized representatives, etc.)
▪Green Book Holder
▪Certified Environmental Professional in Sewage Treatment Plant Operation. (CePSTPO) (Preferred)
▪Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management. (CEPSWAM) (Preferred)

Job requirements
Specialized knowledge/ education:
▪Bachelor degree or any equivalent education
▪ISO14001:45001 well versed
▪Basic Occupational First Aid, CPR & AED.
▪Fire Protection System Implementation & Coordination
▪EHS Implementation & Coordination
▪Contractor Safety Management
▪Waste Management

Work experience:
▪3-5 yrs
