Trainee Production Operator

Principle Activities

• Simple setup and change of testing and working equipment; according to guidelines
• Determine simple to recognize defects (e.g. malfunctions, wrong parts or structure, leakage, etc.)
• Determine part and material availability and report shortages
• Document test/measurement results
• Recognize and report problem areas
• Assemble, process and/or manually manufacture parts and/or preassembled components in series production, using simple to operate tools and technologies (e.g. fitting, screwing, stapling, prefixing, glue spraying, etc.), devices and machines (e.g. sewing machine, etc.)
• Eliminate obstacles/breakdowns by simple movements; document and/or report as required
• Perform simple tests on parts (e.g. making yes/no decisions with regard to dimensional accuracy, completeness, etc.)
• Sort out defective parts
