System Test Engineer - Intern

We are looking for an intern to work half-time in parallel with studies who is enthusiastic about the automotive industry and system testing, with a focus on Cyber Security testing.

You will work alongside colleagues with years of experience in the development and testing of specialized hardware and software solutions in automotive.

Cyber Security is becoming an increasingly important topic, not just in IT systems, but also in the automotive domain. That’s why we are taking this topic really seriously.

You will learn:

• Work in Automotive development processes (e.g. A-SPICE), with a focus on system testing
• Work on Functional Safety (ISO 26262) analysis in the domain of system testing
• Work with Test methods and Test processes according to ISTQB guidelines
• Work with laboratory equipment
• Support test automation and execution
• Support test results analysis, creation and evaluation of defects
• Work on improvements in the Cyber Security testing methods, in scope of system testing

What you bring: 

• The final year of study for a University degree (i.e. Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science)
• Basic knowledge of Python programming and scripting
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems and C programming
• High motivation for learning concepts and tools required for automotive system testing
• Willingness to explore and utilize new state-of-the-art Cyber Security test methods
• Fluent in English           
• Flexible, goal-oriented, and willing to work in a team
