Site Manager (MEP)

Your Role:
- As a Site Manager MEP, you will oversee the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes for secondary media systems in a high-scale project. Your responsibilities will ensure compliance with quality standards, project schedules, and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Implement and ensure compliance with the QA/QC Program.
- Set up a Quality Matrix for tracking progress and reviewing scope.
- Conduct QA/QC inspections and identify deficiencies.
- Manage punch lists and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Develop photographic inspection reports and document deficiencies.
- Issue quality warnings and track resolutions.
Testing & Commissioning:
- Review tests, certifications, and reports for quality assurance.
- Participate in power-on, cold, and hot tests for MEP systems.
- Prepare and manage testing protocols and checklists.
- Validate training sessions for client and maintenance teams.
- Lead commissioning, approval, and handover processes.
Site Coordination & Reporting:
- Collaborate with General Contractors, client teams, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with construction codes and norms.
- Provide progress reports on quality, contractor performance, and construction issues.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial construction quality management.
- Strong QA/QC experience in MEP systems.
- Experience in automotive or industrial projects is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in QA/QC procedures and compliance tracking.
- Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Experience in reading/interpreting drawings and technical reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Certifications & Safety Requirements:
- DC-3 Certified in Work at Heights, Cutting & Welding, Electrical Works, and Confined Spaces. If not certified, we can provide this training.
- Knowledge of construction codes and safety regulations.
- Soft Skills & Other Requirements:
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to lead QA/QC meetings.
- Fluent in Spanish & English.
- Full-time onsite availability.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills.
