As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and coordination of mechanical building systems across all project phases. Working closely with clients, architects, engineers, suppliers, and project teams, you will help develop innovative and efficient solutions that support the successful delivery of complex projects.
This is more than a design role.

Your Responsibilities
Mechanical Design & Engineering
- Design and develop plumbing, compressed air, process utility piping systems and other mechanical building systems.
- Prepare calculations, technical specifications, reports, and engineering documentation.
- Develop concepts and detailed designs in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Support all project phases from concept design through construction and commissioning.
- Review technical drawings and ensure engineering quality and consistency.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, architects, and external partners.
- Participate in meetings with customers, suppliers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Support design reviews, technical workshops, and value engineering activities.
- Ensure alignment between project requirements, schedules, and engineering deliverables.
- Track open topics and proactively drive resolutions.
Customer & Supplier Interaction
- Support technical discussions with customers and project stakeholders.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and technical solutions.
- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and specialized vendors.
- Assist in selecting efficient and sustainable engineering solutions.
Quality & Continuous Development
- Ensure engineering deliverables comply with relevant standards and best practices.
- Contribute to standardization efforts and internal engineering guidelines.
- Share lessons learned and technical knowledge within the team.
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and project outcomes.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in plumbing, utility systems, or mechanical building services engineering.
- Experience in industrial projects is an advantage.
- Native Spanish and preferably professional working proficiency in English.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of applicable engineering standards and design methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
