WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Manages and coordinates an interior development project to ensure product development and support from the concept phase right up to series production
- Key technical contact to the customer within the scope of series development in accordance with the specified project structure
- Ensures product and process development suitable to deadlines, costs and development status in accordance with the project targets and customer requirements
- Capacity planning for development activities
- Coordinate and evaluate design solutions, collaborate with internal/external development partners
- Check development progress and coordinate priorities; define interfaces
- Coordinate development tasks (e.g. build parts/modules with a variety of functions and connections, etc.) and taking requirements into account (e.g. functional, weight & installation viewpoints, economic aspects, etc.)
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Project Management skill-and mindset
- Strong engineering mindset
- Fluent written and spoken English, German is an advantage
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant professional field
- Knowledge and practical experience of conventional engineering analysis
- Good communication skills with proven ability to contribute to design review meetings and form working relationships with colleagues and suppliers
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
ADVANTAGE
- Fully conversant with design and injection molding process techniques, practices and procedures
- Experienced with Catia V5 and/or Siemens NX CAD modelling software at advanced user level
- Familiar with Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
